Take a friend and a couple of bags on an Emeya test drive. Try the back seats, then work out where you’d stop on a route you know. A four-door Lotus that spends much of its life on a motorway has to be judged as a GT. A quick sprint up a slip road doesn’t tell you whether it’s one you’d want to cross France in.

In 2024 Lotus quoted 18 minutes from 10 to 80 per cent on suitable 350 kW hardware. That’s a useful comparison if the battery and charger are ready for it. A cold pack, a queue or a bay that won’t deliver its rated output can make the stop longer.
For an owner with overnight charging, this may only matter on a handful of trips a year. Check those trips before you decide how much weight to give the number.
