Lotus launched the plug-in SUV in China as For Me in March 2026. In Europe it’s called Eletre X. The new name matters less to a buyer than the fact that the car adds a petrol engine to the electric SUV idea. If you can plug in most nights, you’ll use the two systems differently from someone who parks on the street.
Make separate lists of your short trips and the long runs that worry you. Electric-only range tells you something about the first list. Combined range tells you something about the second. Neither tells you what the car will cost to run if you rarely charge it.
