{"id":820,"date":"2011-10-03T19:05:53","date_gmt":"2011-10-03T19:05:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.seloc.org\/?page_id=820"},"modified":"2011-10-03T19:05:53","modified_gmt":"2011-10-03T19:05:53","slug":"elise-s-2012","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/f.seloc.club\/w691\/index.php\/articles\/galleries\/elise-s-2012\/","title":{"rendered":"Elise S (2012)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Introduced in the Elise S at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011, the use of the 2ZR-FE &#8211; which is not used in standard form by Lotus, and is instead combined with a Magnuson R900 supercharger (utilising Eaton TVS Technology) &#8211; sees the return of a true high performance Elise after the demise of the <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.seloc.org\/a\/Toyota_engines#2ZZ-GE\">2ZZ-GE<\/a> due to emission regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Compared to its predecessor, the 2ZR-FE is a lower revving engine with a redline of 7000rpm. It shares the 80.5mm bore of the <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.seloc.org\/a\/Toyota_engines#1ZR-FAE\">1ZR-FAE<\/a>, but the stroke is increased to 88.3mm, giving a total capacity of 1797cc.
